This @bellangelowine Sparkling Riesling starts with a tangerine nose that edged more towards lime peel, but then moved into creamy meringue and biscuit notes as it opened. When sipped it was bright and citrusy with a fascinating tapioca finish. We had a delicious night exploring @venetorochester’s new menu! Not only do they have some killer Italian wines (like a DOCG Brunello that’s to die for) but they also carry FLX wine. Their house red and white are wines made by @casalargawinery; both are fun fruity takes on Italian style wines and go great with food. . . . Thanks again to @venetorochester and @wineaboutroc for inviting us out! We had a very Rochester Sunday with my mom and aunt that including shopping for crafts at @maydayunderground, lunch at @sagerbeerworks and dessert at @livingrootswine. . . . Who else would rather have wine as dessert? . . This @livingrootswine Adelaide Hills Pepperberry Shiraz is full of blackberries and black raspberries, with just enough tannin and black tannin to balance the fruit.
